So I'm tattooing this young fellow from Tallahassee, FL. the other day. He had made an appointment a few weeks in advance and emailed a graphic that he wanted to sport for life. Upon looking at this odd little character that he wanted me to enhance with a Jason mask. It was Friday the thirteenth after all! Anyway, I figured out a design that he was stoked about, did the tattoo. Everybody's happy and his friend suggests that they offer their extra ticket to Puscifer to me. I had no idea who or what this show was about, but decided to take them up on the offer.
The show was at the Pearl theater in the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas of course. I had been wanting to see the theater for some time anyway. Figured what the hell, I got nothing to lose by taking them up on this generous offer. Their seats were right on the front row. Lead guitar player right in front of me. Only slight obstruction was the top of the large security dude right in front of me. Excellent.
The band was put together by this dude from Tool. Maynard, I think? Anyway, this was a killer show with sac-religious overtones. What the hell, it was quite a show, very hard to describe because there was so much going on.
